PHANTASMAGORIC IMAGE PRESENTS A MAGIC LANTERN OF IMAGERY: THE ENIGMATIC COLLAGE WORKS OF BRIEN COLEMAN. THESE MYSTICAL AND SURREAL WORKS OFFER AN INTRICATE AND FASCINATING WINDOW INTO A FLAMBOYANT PARALLEL UNIVERSE WHERE PICTORIAL LANDSCAPES EMERGE AS IF FROM A WAKING DREAM, THE PARANORMAL AND SUPERNAL SEEM COMMONPLACE, AND PSYCHIC TOPOGRAPHIES LINGER IN THE MEMORY.

This site is conceived as a showcase for the collage works produced over the past twenty or so years. It will continue to evolve and feature submissions from other visual artists and poets who deal in the phantasmagoric and surreal. It is hoped that this will lead to an alternative gallery of new projects and forms of self expression, illumination, and creative collaborations.  

		Brien Coleman, originally from Miami and New York City, has drawn from his many travels, friendshps and colorful experiences and found a fantastic outlet for self-expression via installations and collage on PHANTASMAGORIC IMAGE, as well as his two recent books, ENIGMATIX ONE and ENIGMATIX TWO. He intends to broaden this imagery into more dynamic, larger scale presentations. He currently lives in Miami.
